body of work: elements (This body of work was made during a three-month residency at 701 Center for Contemporary Art in Columbia, South Carolina. The four suspended fabric constructions are a slight departure from what I had been making. The pieces are larger in scale, more basic in form, and visually lighter weight. The tea-stained silk organza is transparent and provides a gestural quality.
